Life Brenthurst Hospital, a hospital within Life Healthcare, proudly acknowledged its nurses on International Nurses Day, for their dedication and commitment to making life better for patients.
“International Nurses Day and initiatives such as Life Healthcare’s Great 100 Nurses provide opportunities to focus on the excellent work being carried out by our nursing team who strive for clinical excellence while delivering quality care to our patients. Our vision for nursing is to create the very best experience for our patients by placing them at the centre of care,” said Dr Tebogo Mphake from the hospital.

Life Brenthurst Hospital celebrated their nurses and recognised their daily efforts to serve the community.
Most importantly, they saluted the nursing team for providing high-quality nursing care that ensures not only a positive patient experience but also a better clinical outcome at the hospital.
“I’m proud to be a nurse and get a lot of personal satisfaction from knowing that what I do every day makes a difference,” commented Nadia Yusuf, nursing manager at Life Brenthurst Hospital.
Life Healthcare ICU unit manager, Mandla Lituka, a 2016 Discovery Excellence Awards recipient explained that nursing is a noble profession which teaches discipline, professional conduct and an appreciation for cultural diversity.
“It’s a job that requires caring, honesty, professionalism, vision, innovation and vigilance.”
