Hyde Park High School in Sandton recognises it sports stars with colours

HYDE PARK – Hyde Park schoolchildren are awarded colours for water polo, cricket, tennis and swimming.

 

Hyde Park High School in Sandton has a stringent Colours Committee who process the awarding of sporting colours for excellence.

It is always with great anticipation that the schoolchildren attend the formal assembly at which these awards are announced and this year was no exception.

The first term colours awarded were for water polo, cricket, tennis and swimming. The principal of the school, Manolis Vogiatzis commended all the recipients on their commitment to their sport and encouraged all schoolchildren to be active members of their teams.
