True beauty takes to the runway in Maboneng and fashionistas are invited

JOBURG – Launching in Johannesburg; The Legacy of True Beauty comes alive.

The Legacy of True Beauty (TLOTB) is excited to introduce Johannesburg to designs of upcoming and unknown designers, as well as underground artists at Agog Gallery.

“Agog Gallery is a unique art gallery where we believe that the meaning of art is also the meaning of the artist. Fashion is an art of personal expression,” said the founder of TLOTB, Tendai Marowa.

Marowa created the company with the aim of providing a platform for aspiring professionals to achieve their dream careers in their desired industry.

Now, the first intake of young aspirants is coming together in Maboneng to launch the careers of 10 up-and-coming fashion designers in the heart of culture and fashion.

Quoting a great art historian, W. Gombrich, Marowa said, “There is no art but the artist.”

She added, “He actually reached a very important determination. The reason of existence of art is actually the human itself.”

There is no better way to introduce the greater public to the new fashion designers in town than to launch them at the trendy Agog Gallery.

“The gallery is dedicated to the promotion of national and international artists and to connecting artists with collectors. We at The Legacy of True Beauty are excited to partner with Agog for our first fashion designer’s launch [where] fashion meets art and incorporates entertainment and comedy in one. This is to give our audience an experience of excitement, anticipation, interest and expectancy,” Marowa said.

An exciting, star-studded event not-to-be-missed, comedian Jason Goliath will be the emcee at the launch on 5 May.
