Roedean School excels in public speaking

HOUGHTON – Roedean School public speaking girls recently had a magnificent victory.

 

Roedean School’s public speaking team won a competition organised by the Speech and Drama College (SA).

Roedean’s trophy-winning team, consisting of Aliyah Bulbulia, Althea Janse van Rensburg and Nina Jacobson, qualified for the finals which were held at Crawford College, Sandton. Their topic was a quotation from Ralph Waldo Emerson’s writings, ‘Each becomes a fraction’.
