ChaiFM’s Corruption Buster is nominated for Liberty Radio Awards

JOHANNESBURG – The ChaiFM daytime show, Corruption Busters, has been announced as a finalist for best daytime show at the Liberty Radio Awards.

 

The ChaiFM radio show, Corruption Busters, which broadcasts throughout the North Eastern Tribune area has been nominated as a finalist in the best daytime show category in the prestigious National 2017 Liberty Radio Awards.

Corruption Busters was previously a finalist in the MTN Radio Awards, the predecessor to the Liberty Radio Awards, as well as a finalist in the Sanlam Local Media Awards.

The show’s presenter Chad Thomas said he was honoured that the show had been nominated.

“ChaiFM was brave enough to give our anti-corruption show a platform from which to broadcast our message. Fraud and corruption are two of the biggest problems in South Africa. Corruption Busters is the only show of its kind in South Africa and has broken some huge fraud-related stories the past few years.

“We are proud to be a finalist in the category, best daytime show, in these prestigious awards,” said Thomas.
