The Norwood Police Station made 28 successful arrests between 3 and 10 March.
The arrests were as follows:
- 2 for illegal immigration
- 2 for common assault
- 1 for assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm
- 1 for shoplifting
- 2 for possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle
- 11 for drunk driving
- 2 for theft
- 2 for the possession of stolen property
- 1 for malicious damage to property
- 1 for dealing in marijuana
- 2 for housebreaking and theft
- 1 for drug possession.
Spokesperson for Norwood Police Station, Captain Elliot Tshivhase said all the suspects will appear in court and some have paid bail.
