The 1st team has enjoyed some noteworthy victories against some of the toughest competition. They beat St Stithians College at the St Peter’s College tournament last year and went on to win all of their six group matches.

The team notched up another victory against St Stithians at the St John’s College tournament this year.

Another first-time victory for St David’s basketball team was the hard-fought win against St John’s College at the Kearsney College tournament in October last year. The team also beat Jeppe High School for Boys twice in one week, in a league game and at the St John’s tournament, where they finished 11th out of 28 schools.
