Gauteng police arrested a 29 year old man for the murder of five family members that were killed in Hillbrow on Monday, 20 February 2017. The suspect was arrested on Wednesday, 08 March 2017 in Hillbrow after an intensive investigation by the Gauteng SAPS Tracing Unit and a tip-off from the community.
During the arrest, police confiscated two firearms that are believed to have been used during the commission of crime.
It is alleged that the suspect entered the residence of the victims and shot three women and two children on the upper bodies and they died on the scene.
