According to Sergeant Reginald Ngobeni of Parkview Police Station, they have received information that these men pretend to assist people when they are withdrawing cash. The victims’ cards are taken without them noticing, and the suspects then move to other areas to withdraw the cash after somehow obtaining the pin code.

Community members are advised not to ask for assistance from strangers or allow anyone to help them when withdrawing cash. Victims are urged to stop their cards with the bank as soon as they notice that it is missing, and to report such crimes to the police immediately.
