Water interruption set for 25–26 February

JOHANNESBURG – There will be no water in certain areas in the north-east of Joburg on 25 February.

Water supply will be interrupted in various areas in the north-east of Johannesburg as Johannesburg Water plans to remove a temporary supply bypass.

Residents will be without water from 9am on 25 February until 6am on 26 February.

The areas affected will include Yeoville, Berea, Upper Houghton, Highlands, Observatory, Braamfontein, Judith’s Paarl and Parktown.

There will be ater tanks at the following locations:

  • On the corner of Bruce and Banket streets (Rand Clinic Hillbrow)
  • Junction Avenue (Park Lane Clinic Parktown)
  • On the corner of Cooper and Beryl streets (next to Garage Cyrldene)
  • Yeoville Clinic on Kenmere Road.
