BREAKING NEWS: Joburg shooting leaves 1 dead, 1 critical

Two unidentified men were shot at approximately 7.30 pm at the corner of  Bree and Goud streets.

According to paramedics at the scene, one patient has been transported to Joburg Gen in a critical condition, while the other was declared dead at the scene.

While the motive for the shooting is unknown, a Metro Police officer at the scene told City Buzz that it looked as though the shooting was a result of a criminal act gone wrong.

Police at the scene said the suspect were still at large.  Approximately 9 rounds were fired during the shooting.

City Buzz spoke to a local vagrant near the scene, who said he witnessed two men exit a taxi on Goud Street. A person in a passing vehicle opened fire on the two men.
