With a 100 per cent pass rate, Torah Academy is very proud of its matrics who wrote examinations last year.
Spokesperson for the academy, Sue Belling said, “Having been working for the school for nine years, these kinds of results have been consistent.”
Dean of the academy, Rabbi Dovid Hazdan, added that exams displayed a greater measure of achievement in that many school-goers who would achieve average results were able to work hard and gain distinctions. Hazdan said, “I believe matric is a huge milestone, but life has so many journeys ahead that I wish all our students luck for.”
Three pupils from the Boys’ Academy achieved excellent results.
Doron Joffe achieved eight distinctions, Aharon Gralnik received six and Daniel Reich achieved five.
The girls’ academy saw Yocheved Cohen achieving eight distinctions, while Ashira Aronson and Kayla Rachbuch gained an impressive five distinctions each.
Ga’alya Shalpid worked hard to earn four distinctions, while Shterna Bacher, Hadassah Carlebach and Kayla Drutman achieved three distinctions each.
