Captain Elliot Tshivhase of Norwood Police Station registered a total of eight arrests during the period of 26 December last year to 2 January this year.
The eight arrests included:
- One for assault of common domestic violence
- One for attempted theft
- One for shoplifting
- One for assault of grievous bodily harm
- One for possession of suspected stolen property
- One for driving under the influence
- Two for common assault.
“It was definitely a lot quieter compared to the Christmas before,” said Tshivhase.
