Crimebusters on the prowl in Parkview

PARKVIEW – There will be a crime prevention operation this festive season.

Parkview Police Station is proud to announce their new crime prevention operation over the festive season.

The operation was launched on 8 December, according to Captain Tintswalo Sibeko, the spokesperson for the station. The officers will be working in partnership with Metro police, Cortac and ADT security companies and have started with operations around the Parkview policing precinct.

The station commander of Parkview Police Station, Colonel Theledi Zacharia Gopane together with the visible police commander Lieutenant Colonel Sandile Mkhize said the main purpose of the operation is to create a safe and secure environment for the residents.

The operation will be focusing on crime prevention, patrolling, roadblocks and stop-and-searches which will be conducted around the area. This is just one of the operations that will be conducted throughout the festive season.
