It’s a wrap

JOBURG - Cadbury Glow takes Christmas gifts to a new level.

It was an exciting and fun-filled afternoon at the Cadbury Glow gift wrapping workshop recently in Johannesburg.

The Cadbury team treated all the ladies to a welcoming drink, appetizers were served and then the fun started. Romy Meurer from The Gift Wrap Studio honoured all the guests with her presence in presenting the workshop. “This is truly the tip of the iceberg,” said Meurer.

She explained that when one is wrapping a gift it should be done in a professional manner. “If something is just thrown into a bag people won’t remember the gift, but when you do put in some effort, people will know a little bit more about who you are.”

She added that people should invest in a pair of sharp scissors, thin, double sided tape, beautiful wrapping paper and some pretty ribbons. “Never let the paper hang over the edge, it looks sloppy and unprofessional, so make sure that you measure your paper,” said Meurer.

The day ended with a fun-filled atmosphere and giggles everywhere. A light lunch was served by the Cadbury team and many gifts such as room incense, Cadbury Glow chocolates and some bubbly were given to the guests.

A small competition was added to make the day even more special. The person with the most creative Tweets and who tweeted the most on the day, got the prize of a Woolworths voucher.

The winners left the event with their various vouchers, other gifts and new Christmas wrapping ideas.
