Get your fill of the strange and wonderful

CRAIGHALL PARK – Artists come together to showcase their best in all that is wonderfully strange.

 

Lovers of strange and wonderful art and artifacts can enjoy the Curiosity Shoppe exhibition to be held at the Yiull Damaso Artists Studio and Gallery.

The exhibition will feature dramatic exhibits ranging from fine art, sculpture and photography to jewelry and lighting constellations from a collaboration of 13 artists.

Some of the artists in the exhibition include Dov Fedler, oils on canvas; Oscar Gutierrez, photography; and Yiull Damaso, collection of rusted crows painting.

Other attractions at the Curiosity Shoppe exhibition include Victor Reed’s symposium of handmade hares; delicate ink drawings by Laura De Harde and Nikhil Tricam; photographs by Christiaan Frederik; Steven Berkowitz; abstracts by Julius van der Wat and fantastical 3D creatures by Rick Treweek; Stephen Pikus’s Fire and Ice chandelier; and vintage lights by Bespoke.

Against the backdrop of Damaso’s imposing series of mystical crows, visitors can also look forward to Corlene Furstenberg’s bold sculptures and dazzling jewelry by Queen Magpie and Y&M Studios.

The exhibition is set to take place at Yiull Damaso Artists’ Studio and Gallery on 56 Buckingham Avenue in Craighall Park between 26 November and 17 December. Doors will open at 10am till late.
