Sandringham police call for reservists

SANDRINGHAM – The Sandringham Police Station is calling for reservists.

The Sandringham Police Station is calling for local residents to apply to be reservists at the station.

They are looking for 32 individuals who are willing to volunteer 16 hours a month, which will entail performing general functional policing duties in the sector at station level.

Spokesperson for the station Captain Mohlaume Mamabolo said the basic requirements for the positions called for South African matric graduates between the ages of 20 and 50 who are employed and did not have a criminal record. He added that they should be willing to undergo a physical exam and allow for their fingerprints or DNA to be taken for the station’s records.

Anyone interested in the position should apply at the station by 25 November with successful candidates being notified by 30 January next year. Basic training will start on 1 February.
