Christmas is a time for giving

WESTCLIFF – Pupils give to the less-privileged.

The Ridge Preparatory School Grade 0 pupils have worked tirelessly to design, decorate and, most importantly, fill their boxes in support of the Santa Shoebox Project.
The project distributes shoeboxes filled with daily necessities donated by the general public to underprivileged communities for Christmas.

Sixty boxes will be delivered to the nearest drop-off point ready to be handed over to less-fortunate recipients on Christmas Day.

The Ridge pupils and their teachers proudly display Christmas boxes to be donated to the less-privileged.
“Our boys have learnt that Christmas time is just as much as about giving as it is receiving,” said Kathy Rossouw, one of the Grade 0 teachers at the school.
