Police have fired stun grenades and several rubber bullets at protesting Wits students as they were marching from the West Campus.
A police officer stood in front of the crowd and threw the first stun grenade followed by a cannister of tear gas.
One student is bleeding from her neck. Student paramedics are helping her. Say she was hit by rubber bullet #Wits

Students retaliated by throwing rocks at the armed police.
Students ran for cover as Adv Dali Mpofu and several student leaders attempted to talk to the police in hopes of ending the shooting.
