Police investigate break-in at Bramley business

BRAMLEY – Bramley police on the hunt for suspect(s) after business break-in.

Bramley police are looking for one or more suspects linked to a recent armed robbery at a business within the precinct.

The incident allegedly took place on 12 August in Bramley when the business owner received several SMS notifications from the alarm company, alerting her that the alarm had gone off.

Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for the Bramley Police Station, said the business owner decided to investigate the matter and went to the premises.

“Upon arrival, she discovered that certain valuables had been taken from the place and this included electronic devices,” he said.

The items stolen included three laptops, three monitors and two printers. Maphakela confirmed that a case of business robbery was opened at the Bramley Police Station and that the police were still investigating the matter.

“No arrests have been made at this stage and we are still looking for one or more suspects linked to the robbery,” he confirmed.
