Come National Women’s Day, runners and walkers in both Johannesburg and Cape Town will line the streets of their favourite city on Tuesday, 9 August to participate in the much-loved Totalsports Women’s Race in support of PinkDrive.
“Good luck to all the women who will form part of the movement by participating in the Totalsports Women’s Race in Johannesburg and Cape Town,” said Charmaine Claasens, head of marketing Totalsports.

With two fun events to choose from – a 5km fun run/walk and a 10km fun run/walk – the Totalsports Women’s Race is ideal for family and friends.
Comfort Aromatherapy has partnered with this popular Women’s Day celebration. Look out for Comfort’s ‘Tunnel of Rejuvenation’ on the route. The tunnel will cool down participants with a fine mist, while revitalizing them with their rejuvenating fragrances.
Hip-hop sensation, Sizwe ‘Reason’ Moeketsi will close off the celebration in Johannesburg, while Idols star Shekinah will close off the festivities in Cape Town.
The race starts at 8am and Joburg residents will begin at Mary Fitzgerald Square, Newtown and for those who are in Cape Town, the race will begin at the Grand Parade.
