Parts of the North Eastern suburbs of Johannesburg are experiencing a power outage due to a faulty cable at Cydna substation.
According to a statement sent out by City Power the affected areas include Observatory, Yeoville, Bellevue, Houghton, Linksfield Ridge, Melrose, Killarney, Riviera and Bramley.
“City Power is doing its best to restore the power in affected areas and expect power to be fully restored around 17:00,” read the statement.
