Bramley police nab 21 for various offences

BRAMLEY – Drunken drivers off the roads

The Bramley police have made significant arrests within the precinct for various offences in recent weeks.

The police officers managed to arrest 21 suspects for crimes ranging from theft and armed robbery to driving under the influence.

Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for Bramley Police Station, said that the police arrested one suspect who was found in possession of dagga. “Another suspect was arrested for a theft incident while 18 more people were nabbed by our officers for drunken driving incidents,” Maphakela said.

Furthermore, one suspect was arrested by Bramley police after he was linked to an armed robbery. Maphakela confirmed that all the arrested suspects were detained at Bramley Police Station.

“They have since been charged with the various offences and have appeared in court to face their respective charges,” he concluded.
