Norwood community welcomes pizza brand to the neighbourhood

NORWOOD – New restaurant delivers pizzas to police station as a welcome gesture.

Well-known pizza outlet, Andiccio24, showed their appreciation for the Norwood Police Station with a special delivery of free pizzas and cupcakes to the station.

The delivery came hot on the heels of the company’s opening of a franchise in Norwood along Grant Avenue. Mark Munzer, the company’s franchise co-owner, said the delivery was a gesture to recognise the work done by the police and to advertise the brand’s presence in the suburb.

“Doing this was our way of introducing ourselves to the community and thank them for the great reception and for having us,” he added.

“We chose the police station because we wanted to recognise the work officers do to protect the community and the integral role they play in the community.”

Munzer, along with his brother and co-owner, Fardy, expressed joy at being involved with the local community and being welcomed.

Police officers at the station were on hand to receive the special delivery and expressed gratitude to the company for the special treat.
