JDA invites residents to Grant Ave Precinct Plan meeting
NORWOOD – Norwood residents to be presented with Grant Ave Precinct Plan.
The Johannesburg Development Agency is inviting Norwood residents and tenants living along Grant Avenue to an upcoming Grant Avenue Precinct Plan presentation meeting next week.
The presentation of the plan will take place on 8 June at the old boxing gym located on 59 Grant Avenue, just above Meat on Grant.
The meeting will begin at 6pm and will run until 7pm and various ideas for the precinct will be addressed by the entity. These include traffic-calming measures, parking solutions and creating gateways along the avenue to make it more pedestrian friendly.
The ongoing Grant Avenue Precinct Plan has been devised through a series of collaborative workshops with property owners, tenants, residents and visitors.
