Bramley police hunt for suspects following house robbery

RUMARAIS PARK – Suspects wanted in connection with a house robbery in Rumarais Park.

Bramley police are looking for one or more suspects involved in a house burglary within the precinct.

The incident took place in Rumarais Park according to Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for the Bramley Police Station.

“The resident alleges that when he left the house, all the doors and windows were locked but upon his return he found the front door wide open,” he said.

The resident noticed that the door was forced open and upon further investigation, realised that his valuables from the house had been stolen. Maphakela confirmed that the total value of the items stolen was R10 000.

“The police are still investigating the matter and no arrests have been made at this stage,” he said.
