LOMBARDY EAST – Residents urged to take part in fighting crime ... Click below to find out how

Lombardy East Community Policing Forum is calling on all residents to attend their monthly meeting on 4 May at the Methodist Church at 280 Queen Alexandra Road at 6.30 pm.

The forum is a platform where community members and the police meet to discuss and get feedback on local crime prevention initiatives. In a recent meeting between the Sandringham Community Policing Forum, Sandringham police officers, Blockwatch members and local community members, it was revealed that crime was a problem in the area and local residents needed to get involved in combating this.

Kenneth Collett of the Lombardy East forum applauded the fantastic job done by Sandringham police in partnership with Blockwatch and local security companies in fighting crime in the area. “At the upcoming CPF meeting, the public will be given feedback on the arrests, plus residents can share concerns and give their input on the direction of initiatives for the coming month,” he said.

Collett added that they have enjoyed fantastic success so far, but will only continue to succeed with community support. “We urge residents to join us on Wednesday. Without you, we cannot keep our suburbs safe.”
