King David alumni come together for Dynamic Davidian

LINKSFIELD – Read how parents and alumni at King David Linksfield were recently inspired by the journey of a former pupil who turned her dreams to confectionery reality.

The King David Linksfield Schools’ Foundation played host to renowned confectioner Karen Schneid Lieberman at a Dynamic Davidian event.

Schneid Lieberman told guests that her parents had always inspired her to pursue her dreams and how this led her to discover her passion for the confectionery trade.

“[It was] while travelling with my husband in Provence, France, that I got a taste of a French delicacy known as calisson’ [and] from the first bite, I decided to apply my pursuit of all things excellent to… confectionery,” she said.

Eventually, Schneid Lieberman could no longer ignore her passion and this led to her giving up her work as an advocate and opening her own business, the Ooh La La confectionary, which is focused on making high-end artisanal confections.

Schneid Lieberman concluded her talk by urging those present to find their passion, follow it and make it happen.

The event was hosted by the foundation which focuses on fundraising for King David schools and also profiles former Davidians who have excelled in their chosen careers.
