CEO SleepOut launch to hit Braam

BRAAMFONTEIN – Some of South Africa's most prominent leaders will once again converge under the stars for the second annual CEO SleepOut.

Following the successful launch of the Sun International CEO SleepOut South Africa in Sandton last year, the successful initiative returns once again this year.

The media launch will take place in Braamfontein on 26 April and will see business leaders take part in the global philanthropic event in support of charity. The sleepout itself is set to take place on 28 July.

The launch will take place from 10am and will include speakers such as Darren Olivier, a trustee of the CEO SleepOut; Graeme Stephens, the chief executive officer of Sun International; and Oresti Patricios, chief executive officer of Ornico, among others.

Last year’s CEO SleepOut saw 247 business leaders spend a night on the streets, as a way to show empathy for the homeless and raise funds for charity. The successful event last year also saw R26 million raised.
