Adorable pet story shows Norwood community spirit

NORWOOD – A pet owner thanked a restaurant in Norwood for taking care of her pet after he got lost in the suburb.

A relieved pet owner expressed gratitude to a restaurant owner in Norwood for taking care of her toy poodle who had gone missing.

The resident, Kathy Potter, said her pet, Truffles, had gone missing while she was out celebrating her birthday in Norwood.

“I came back from the party only to find Truffles gone,” she said. “I was horrified and could not sleep trying to put together the puzzle and was very upset. However, I knew that [Truffles] knew the area as he had often come out with me.”

Potter added that upon investigation, she found out her dog had been at the Cosa Nostra restaurant and had been later taken to the Parktown Veterinary Clinic for safe keeping.

She was reunited with her beloved pet at the clinic and expressed gratitude to the restaurant for ‘showing good community spirit and togetherness’.
