Hillbrow police confirm charge against ‘Prophet Mboro’

HILLBROW – Prophet Mboro taken to task following alleged claims of him going to heaven and taking selfies on his cellphone.

The Commission for the Promotion and Protection of Cultural‚ Religious and Linguistic Communities has opened a case against Paseka Motsoeneng of Incredible Happenings ministries, who is popularly known as Prophet Mboro or Pastor Mboro.

This according to Hillbrow Police Station spokesperson Sergeant Mduduzi Zondo, who confirmed that the charge was opened at the station recently.

Reports  state that the charge is related to Mboro’s reluctance to co-operate with the commission in their investigation of the commercialisation of religion by his church and the abuse of people’s belief systems.

Also, the commission has allegedly accused Mboro of bringing the commission into disrepute by his alleged attacks directed to the commission and its members.
