A severe motor vehicle accident took place on Jan Smuts Avenue in Craighall Park earlier today.
A car made an illegal U-turn on the corner of Jan Smuts Avenue and Abercorn Acenue. Two other vehicles tried to avoid the vehicle making the turn. The vehicle then swerved off the road and crashed. Three people have been injured in the accident.
It is believed the vehicle flipped off the road and crashed on to the pavement.
EMER-G-MED paramedics were at the scene to tend to the driver. Scroll down to view a video of the crash scene.
