Do you know where this street art (pictured) is situated?

It can be found opposite a building that’s being renovated to be rented out as affordable housing for people who live or work in the city – but with all the construction taking place in the city, that could really be anywhere.

This detailed graffiti is also situated nearby a popular market that takes place over the weekend.

You’ve probably got it – this piece of public art is situated in Maboneng on the corner of Anderson and Berea streets.

This is an exciting place to be at this point in time, with affordable housing units being built in the same road and a lively social hotspot just two roads away – that is Fox Street.

Just one street over from the colourful art, on Main Road, you can find a hot and happening culinary school, JHB Culinary and Pastry School, where a number of young aspiring chefs and bakers are taught to make culinary magnificence by well-travelled chefs.

On a Sunday you can find the area bustling with activity as Market on Main – a magical place where you can buy anything from art to food and everything in-between – attracts the masses.

The street art is situated in an up-and-coming area so you can be sure to see a lot more people making homes in Maboneng in the near future.
