Lombardy East teen kidnapped while waiting for her school transport

JOBURG - A 16-year-old girl was kidnapped outside her home in Milton Road, Lombardy East on 9 February at about 7am while she was waiting for her school transport.

According to Alex Police Cluster spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela it is believed she was kidnapped by suspects driving a blue car but no one knows what make of car it was.

The girl is said to have been wearing her school uniform, a green skirt, white shirt, grey jersey and black shoes. The school she attends has not been divulged.

A case of kidnapping has been opened with Sandringham Police Station and anyone with information is asked to contact them.

The story of the kidnapping and picture of the girl is said to have been circulated widely. The parents of the missing girl have asked parents of Sacred Heart College in Observatory to help with the search because they have an extensive chat network.
