According to a post by Intelligence Bureau SA on Facebook, a fatal shooting took place near the Newtown Theatre.
It is believed that the shooting was in relation to taxi violence. The post further stated that a helicopter is over head at the scene and 2 male suspects are believed to have fled the scene in a black VW Golf.
One victim was left dead after being shot at the scene.
