According to the Ward 117 cllr, Tim Truluck, “Pikitup have suspended all their services. All the Garden Sites are now closed and workers/drivers there have been threatened. Reports are coming in that bins left in the street are being overturned by the strikers. Please bring your bins inside. Looking to today, it is highly unlikely that Pikitup will be collecting our Monday bins this week. It is nearly impossible to catch up on a whole day of no collections, and the strike is unlikely to be resolved in one day either. And it is looking like the collections for the rest of the week will be affected too.”
