The non-profit organisation is appealing to residents wishing to give back to the community to assist and be a voice of hope for callers in distress.
The organisation, which receives up to 400 calls a day, helps callers from all over the country with mental health queries and to keep these helplines running, the organisation needs counsellors willing to volunteer for at least four hours per week.
The new volunteers will also receive training towards the end of November and additional onsite training, which can start at a convenient time for the interested volunteers.
The closing date for applications is 10 November.
