Randburg to shut down

JOBURG – The Randburg Central Businness District may shut down as 1 000 marchers are expected to come to town to hand over a memorandum to the ministry of trade and industry.

 

It was reported that the African National Congress Dennis Goldberg branch in Ward 102 will be lead the Socio-economic transformation march in the CBD and many road closures will take place at Hill Street pedestrian bridge at the intersection of Jan Smuts, Braam Fischer and Jean avenues.

The road closures in the area also includes:

Jan Smuts, Braam Fischer entrances, Braam Fischer and Bond entrances, Braam Fischer and Republic entrances, Kent and Hill intersection.

Oak and Surrey avenues were not mention but may be affected.
