The evening included prayers from different cultural traditions and showed that through the universal power of prayer, unity can be achieved.
The evening included presentations of the core beliefs of different faiths and also included Hindu festival dancing. All the children in attendance were treated to a taste of festival foods and displayed their projects and symbols made during art classes. Artefacts from various other holy festivals and celebrations were also displayed.
The purpose of this event was for the schoolchildren to share knowledge of their religious traditions and for the school to celebrate the unique opportunities offered by Sacred Heart College.
