WATCH: Reactions from protesting students at Wits

JOBURG - Protesting students rallied through the city of Joburg earlier today demanding the price hike of their University Fees to be lowered.

Wits University students were joined by University of Joburg students earlier today in a protest that began on Empire Road, where the students shut down the road.

They then marched into Braamfontein through De Korte Street and moved towards the African National Congress Head Offices at Luthuli House.

They then marched back to the Wits campus through Yale Road in Joburg, where they are believed to remain for the rest of the day, mobilising for a march to the Union Buildings tomorrow.

A small group of protesters remained on the streets of Braamfontein just before the Nelson Mandela Bridge.
