Furry pets up for adoptions give food for thought

SANDTON – The Sandton SPCA needs loving homes for some of their pets this week. The organisation is appealing to community members to adopt a pet but advises that adoption will involve a home inspection by the organisation.

Additionally, members will have to pay for vaccination, de-worming and the sterilisation of the animal, which are all compulsory.

The SPCA is looking for homes for the following adorable animals:

  •  Lucy, a female German shepherd is six months old and was found unwanted. She is described as very gentle
  •  Honey, a female two-year-old Maltese, was also found unwanted and is described as very cute
  •  The SPCA is also looking for a home for the lovable Wanda, a female cross breed who is eight months old and was found unwanted
  •  Also looking for a home this week is Ty, a playful male cross breed pup aged three months old who was found unwanted
  •  The SPCA needs loving homes for two of their cats, Melissa and Spot. Melissa is a female domestic short-haired golden tabby aged seven months who was found unwanted and is described as affectionate. Spot, a male domestic short-haired white and black cat aged six months, loves cuddling and was found unwanted.
