Photographer ‘assaulted’ by security guards

YEOVILLE - A photographer for the Facebook page We Grew up in and around Yeoville has claimed that she was assaulted by security guards.

Alex Furnsinn wrote on the Facebook page We Grew Up in and around Yeoville that she was assaulted by security guards from two security companies.

Furnsinn urged Facebook users against making use of the two companies.

“They will give you two 21-year-old baboons who haven’t got a clue as to how to assess or contain a normal situation vs a real security threat.”

According to the post, two security guards held her down and “hog tied” her hands.

“I’m at Yeoville police station. I was so afraid but angry when they tied me I made a dash for the street screaming at the top of my lungs for help,” Furnsinn said in a comment on her original post.

It is unclear at this stage what caused the security guards to react in the way they did, although Furnsinn has promised her followers more information later on.

Furnsinn is a well-known community photographer who takes posts photos on the page regularly.
