Thornhill Manor held its Family Fun Day and Fete

MODDERFONTEIN - Thornhill Manor in Modderfontein held its Family Fun Day and Fete on 3 October.

The hall of the Rand Aid Association Retirement Village was jam-packed with people browsing the many popular stalls, including the cake stand, which was full of wonderful things to eat and sweet things to enjoy.

According to the Manor, the ‘Cooksisters’ were on form and even had a chocolate fountain with marshmallows for dipping. All proceeds from the fete were banked into the village fund, which is used on projects that benefit the village and its residents.

Thornhill Manor deputy manager Jackie Scott said, “What a successful day. The weather was great and the sun was shining. The atmosphere was electric with crowds coming in from around the area.”
