R2 million worth of e-learning products stolen from software company

BRAMLEY - R2 million worth of e-learning products which were meant to be delivered to 70 schools across the country were stolen from the MIB Technology building in Bramley on 29 September.

According to IOL news, software development company MIB Technology has been working with the government on the paperless classrooms initiative and was due to begin delivering e-learning equipment over the next few weeks.

Five men reportedly broke into the building on 29 September and the burglary continued into the early hours of 30 September.

Laptops, hard drives and TVs were also among the stolen items.

Police are reportedly on the lookout for the suspects.
