The organisation is encouraging community members to adopt a pet but advises that all they will be subjected to a home inspection by the organisation. Members wishing to adopt will also be required to pay for de-worming, sterilisation and vaccination of the pet, all of which are compulsory.
The SPCA is looking for homes for the following pets:
Brandi, a female cross-breed aged 14 months, was found unwanted and is described as having a lovely nature.
The organisation is also looking for a home for Cola, a male beagle cross dachshund aged six, who was found unwanted. Cola is described as very friendly.
Bandit, a male cross-breed pup of only three months, is also up for adoption and was found unwanted.
Susha, a female cross German shepherd aged two, was found unwanted and needs a loving home to take her in this week.
Last, but not least, the SPCA needs homes for Mora and Zaza. Mora is a female calico domestic short-haired cat of 18 months who is described as loveable and was found unwanted.
Zaza, meanwhile, is a female domestic short-haired torti aged one and was also found unwanted.
