The Joburg All Stars vs SA Invitational All Stars

This will be the first inter-league and inter-province bout in South African roller derby history, and with the level of skill on show, it’s sure to be one of the most exciting games the C-Max Roller Derby League has ever hosted.

Twitter Jam

The Standard Bank Joy of Jazz is holding its very first Twitter Jam Session. See legendary bassist and 2006 Standard Bank Young Artist Jazz winner, Concord Nkabinde, along with members of the 2015 Standard Bank National Youth Jazz Band as they jam YOUR tweets.

The Colour Run

Colour runners get ready in the start chute at 9am, start gun goes off at 10am to start the happiest 5km in Joburg. It takes one to two hours to run or walk the route, and then make your way into the festival zone where you will enjoy music from awesome DJs, local acts, best-dressed competitions, food and drink … and you guessed it, more colour.

‘Scapes’

The Rosebank Art Precinct will be hosting a collaborative exhibition of ‘Scapes’. This collection will feature the best works by artists Helen Wallace Watts, Edward Selematsela, Jennifer Strong, Noreen Beets, Renne Johannes, Sue Orpan and Tracey Armstrong.
