Guests enjoy the annual SA Guide-Dogs Association’s Starry Night Ball

MAGGIELISSIG - Special guests were invited to an evening under the stars at the annual South African Guide-Dogs Association's Starry Night Ball in aid of the visually impaired community at Montecasino on 12 September.

Emcee of the evening, Ashley Hayden, introduced Danny K and his wife Lisa Koppel who gave a speech of appreciation of being chosen as patrons of this year’s ball.

General manager of Montecasino, Glenn Joseph said that Montecasino had pledged R150 000 towards the association which contributes to making the lives of the visually impaired easier.

The guests were given the opportunity to win prizes and as well as to bid for prizes that were on auction.

The association is part of an international movement which uses the aptitude and stable temperament of dogs who give safe, independent mobility and companionship to people who are visually impaired.
