Missing Craighall Park man’s car found

CRAIGHALL PARK – Parkview police have confirmed that the white Toyota Yaris sedan belonging to missing local resident, John Pearce, was found near an upmarket residential estate close to Hartbeespoort Dam on 14 September.

Pearce is still missing, however, after he was last seen leaving his home in Craighall Park shortly after 9am on 29 August.

“The vehicle was recovered after being found near Hartbeespoort Dam in North West province,” stated Parkview police spokesperson, Sergeant Lloyd Ramovha. “There’s still no sign of him, though.”

Ramovha added that the area has now become the focal point of the search.

Pearce is tall at 1.9m, is broad shouldered and walks with a slight stoop. His hair is dark and greying in places. He has dimples in his cheeks and chin and has a slight gap in his front teeth.

His wife, Anne declined to comment on the matter.
