Memorial held for the late Warrant Officer Moses Mosekwane

HILLBROW - THE Hillbrow police main hall was packed to capacity as many came to pay their respects to the late Warrant Officer Moses Mosekwane.

Moskewane was killed in the line of duty in the early hours of the morning on 22 August.

Emotions ran high as fellow police officers spoke of Mosekwane as a kind, dedicated and humble soul. Captian Elvis Godi of Hillbrow police said, “The streets of Hillbrow were clean because of Mosekwane. He was more than just a colleague, he was a friend and a brother.”

MEC for Community and Saftey, Sizakele Nkosi-Malobane expressed her anger at the brutal killings of police officers recently. “The only thing these criminals leave behind is their dirty fingerprints, and we should stop justifying a criminal mind.”

Moskewane leaves behind his wife, a 19-year-old daughter and his mother.
