Military history explored in September

The event is set to take place on 10 September from 8pm and will feature Colin Harris presenting, Bronkhorstspruit – Where it all started; and Kathy Munro presenting, Memory, Commemoration, Memorials and Architects of the First World War – a Journey of Discovery, as the main lecture.

The South African Military History Society holds meetings with lectures on the second Thursday of each month at which a wide range of topics regarding military history are discussed.

Husbandly history buffs are encouraged to bring their partners with for the evening. There is a cover charge of R20 per person.
